Jonathan Rosin, M.D.
Dr. Rosin, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the Chicago Medical School, completed his residency and research fellowship at Northwestern University Medical School. He is currently an instructor in ophthalmology at Northwestern Medical School, and previously served as the clinical practice director for the department. Dr. Rosin focuses his surgical skill on refractive and cataract surgery. He has traveled extensively in order to bring the most up-to-date techniques to his patients. Dr. Rosin is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Deann Adlfinger-Sheldon, O.D.
Dr. Adlfinger-Sheldon received a B.A. in Health Administration from Governors State University in 1996. She then went to the Illinois College of Optometry and received her B.S. in Visual Science in 1999 and her Doctor of Optometry in 2000. Dr. Adlfinger-Sheldon is a primary member of our Laser Vision Correction team and she offers clinic hours at our North Naperville & South Naperville offices as well as Laser Vision Correction Services at our office in Downers Grove.

Glenn Afryl, O.D
Dr. Afryl received his B.S. from Loyola University in 1976. He then went to the Illinois College of Optometry and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry in 1980. Dr. Afryl has office hours at our Downers Grove office.

Ana Amunategui, O.D.
Dr. Amunategui originally received her professional training at the Universidad de la Salle. Bogota, Colombia, graduating in 1991 with her Doctor of Optometry degree. She practiced in Colombia for many years before relocating to the Chicago area. She then went to the New England College of Optometry, graduating in 1998 so she could practice in the United States. Dr. Amunategui is experienced in all aspects of eyecare and has practiced in medical and specialty contact lens settings. Dr. Amunategui is fluent in both Spanish and English. Dr. Amunategui has patient care hours at our office in Berwyn.

Kelly Boucher-Raether, O.D.
Dr. Boucher-Raether graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering and then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. Her professional memberships include the American Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, Society of Women Engineers, Institute of Industrial Engineers, and has performed on compassionate volunteer projects in Guatemala, Mexico and Chicago. Dr. Boucher-Raether’s works have appeared in Optometric Management magazine. Dr. Boucher-Raether has office hours at our office on Randolph St. in Chicago, Jackson St. in Chicago and our office in Streamwood.

Nicholas Chiaramonti, O.D.
Dr. Chiaramonti is the Director of Professional Services of Rosin Eyecare. Dr. Chiaramonti received his B.S. in Biology from Illinois Benedictine College in 1988. He then went to the Illinois College of Optometry and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry in 1992. Dr. Chiaramonti earned his M.B.A. in Health Care Administration from Benedictine University in 2002. Dr. Chiaramonti has office hours at our Downers Grove and North Naperville offices.

Stephen Combs, O.D.
Dr. Combs joined Rosin Eyecare in 2011 after being in independent practice for 21 years. He graduated from Southern Illinois University and went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry
in 1987. Dr. Combs sees patients in our Streamwood office and has been a fixture in the community for over 23 years.

Shawn Dygola, O.D.
Dr. Dygola received his B.S. in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin in 1985. He then went to the University of California at Berkeley and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry in 1993. Dr. Dygola then did his residency at the North Chicago V.S. Medical Center. Dr. Dygola had an original article published in the journal Optometry and Visual Science in 1994. Dr. Dygola has office hours at our Niles and Northbrook offices.

Mark Graves, O.D.
Dr. Graves received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Illinois in 1994. He then went to the Illinois College of Optometry and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry in 1998. Dr. Graves has hours at our Berwyn, Northwestern And Michigan Ave. offices.

Johanna Lingk, O.D.
Dr. Lingk graduated Magna Cum Lauda from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater as a Rath Scholar in 2004. Dr. Lingk received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2008. Dr. Lingk joined Rosin Eyecare with office hours at our Downers Grove and North Naperville offices in the summer of 2008. Dr. Lingk’s interests include low vision.

Lydia Liu, O.D.
Dr. Liu graduated from Loyola University in Chicago with her B.S. in Biology in 2004, she then received her O.D. degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2009. Dr. Liu has done extensive research in children’s binocular vision issues and has been published in the publication Investigational Ophthalmology and Visual Science. Dr. Liu has hours at our offices in Northbrook, Glenview and at Rush Hospital.

Kristopher Owens, O.D.
Dr. Owens received a B.S. in Biology from Lewis University in 1996 and his doctor of optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1998. Dr. Owens originally joined Rosin Eyecare in 1998 and saw patients in our Downers Grove office. He re-joined in 2005 and has patient care hours at our South Naperville office.

Sean O’Neill, O.D.
Dr. O’Neill earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Northern Illinois University and went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. O’Neill is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. He also volunteers weekly with Blind Service Association of Chicago where he reads and records for the visually impaired. Dr. O’Neill has office hours at our office on Jackson St. in Chicago.

Erin Silsby, O.D.
Dr. Silsby graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois with her Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor degree in Chemistry. Dr. Silsby earned her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2005. Dr. Silsby is a member of the American Optometric Association, The AOA Contact Lens & Cornea Section and the Illinois Optometric Association. Dr. Silsby has office hours at our Aurora office.
Dr. Socwell attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison prior to moving on to the Illinois College of Optometry where he received his Bachelors of Science in Visual Science in 2007 and then his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2009. Dr. Socwell then began practice in Wisconsin prior to joining Rosin Eyecare in 2011. Dr. Socwell is a member of the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. He also has attended multiple charitable eyecare missions both inside and outside the United States. Dr. Socwell has patient care hours at our offices in Niles and Northbrook.
Dr. Szafranski graduated Cum Laude from Lawrence University with her Bachelors in Arts in 2002 and went on to the Illinois College of Optometry where she received her O.D. degree in 2007. Dr. Szafranski joined Rosin Eyecare in 2011 after extensive experience in diverse primary eye health and vision care. Dr. Szafranski is a valuable member of our Laser Vision Correction team and provides patient care at our offices on 55th St. in Chicago, at Rush University in Chicago and on Michigan Ave. in Chicago.

Richard Torson, O.D.
Dr. Torson received his B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois in 1985. He then went to the Illinois College of Optometry and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry in 1989. Besides patient care, Dr. Torson was a regional operations manager from 1996 to 2002. Dr. Torson has office hours at our Glen Ellyn office.

Aarthi Vinca, M.D.
Dr. Vinca did her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois and earned her medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School. She did her ophthalmology residency at the University of Buffalo and a glaucoma fellowship at University Eye Specialists in Chicago. Dr. Vinca is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Glaucoma Society. She is a resident instructor at Northwestern University Medical School and is Board Certified. She has a passion for service work, and her most recent trip was a cataract surgical mission trip to Mexico in 2011.
Dr. Vinca provides comprehensive ophthalmologic care, including cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and glaucoma management and surgery. She has office hours at the Northbrook, Michigan Avenue, Downers Grove, and Berwyn offices.

Amy VanDenBrook, M.D.
Dr. VanDenBrook is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Wayne State University Medical School. Dr. VanDenBrook performed her residency at Northwestern Hospital. She currently is an instructor in ophthalmology at Northwestern Medical School and the Northwestern Residency Program.Dr. VanDenBrook’s surgical scope includes cataract surgery and laser glaucoma surgery. She is an active memebr of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Illinois Association of Ophthalmologists and is Board Certified.
